another untitled poem
55a scent of romance ?!
I see that past
The days our eyes met
You had a broad smile
Mine was half-hearted
But you persisted
With that pure heart of yours
With your untainted love.
It began with silent exchanges
Sweet words
Then the flowers
The wonderful conversations...
Under the shade
Of the Big Banyan tree
We would talk for hours
And before we realised
The sun would give way to the moon
Parting words were painful...
But we left each other
With the hope of another day
Another new beginning...

Hi Kavitha, I could see the depth in it....in fact, parting is always painful whether it is for one year, month, day or even a minute especially in such a situation where there is real love...even if we get a new begining by the next day, y'days memory gives or makes us more strong...to go ahead to tomorrows...Good poem, Kavitha. Loved it...it touched my heart....!
with Love,

Sweet sorrow, but there's always tomorrow.
Great poem, thank you, Kavitha.
