near death another spur of the moment poem

57

By kavitha

She gasped for breath

It was in limited supply

Her vision was blurred

She felt trepidation inside

The thumping of her heart

The boiling of her blood

The paleness of her face...

She clasped the arms of the chair so tight

Her eyes didn't blink for a moment

The emotion that stirred her was unbearable

Just within moments

The multitude of reactions came gushing through her

Bringing her almost near death

And there was only one sole reason behind it all

Jack just died on television, saving Rose, the love of his life!
